Soh Yan Xin

2015 Top New Life Planner & 2 Times President Club qualifier (in one of the largest insurers in Malaysia), 2017 COT, 2015-2020 MDRT, 2022 TOT,  NLP Master Practitioner, ICC Certified Coach, IEMD EMBA

Yan Xin was born in Alor Star, Kedah. A humble town in the north of Malaysia with both of his parents being government servant. He then spent six years in Kuching Sarawak(East Malaysia) due to his father’s transfer. After secondary school, he took mechanical engineering at a local university in Pekan, Pahang (east coast Malaysia). After graduating, he went to start his career in Penang (north Malaysia) as both his parents are transferred there. 

He experienced the excitement of doing sales as a book salesman in university and decided to let go of the professional knowledge in engineering. Instead, he started his career in insurance. 

He failed miserably. He then went back to engineering. Still affected by his failure in insurance, he attended a NLP certification class. Which inspired him to go back to his passion, sales. 

He entered the insurance line again after being an engineer for three months. This time with a plan. In three months time, he qualified two overseas trip. The next year, he was the top new life planner of the insurance company. He then qualified COT the next year.

He is now a 1 time TOT, 1 time COT, 5 times MDRT, Unit manager of a Million Dollar Agency, a coach and the first batch of the double millionaire challenge qualifier of one of the largest life insurers in Malaysia.
